1. Turn Phone notifications to silent (not vibrate). If you have one.
2. If you will be allowed to view your phone (have it out) the teacher grants permission. Otherwise it is AWAY! Not on your desk, not in your lap!
3. Do Not Charge Phones at your station or using the floor (outlets).
3. Remove your Headphones & Earbuds, put them away. If you are wearing any.
4. Do not eat Food or Drink (water is an exception).
5. Put your water bottle (allowed) on floor & sealed tightly. If you have one.
6. Make sure your hood is OFF, if you have a hoodie on.

Objective:
Students will open the file (8 Class President Poster), which is saved to their Word Folder on the H:/ Drive and complete the lesson.
Task 3: Spell Checker What Font?
Title: 9 Spell Checker What Font?
Objectives:
- Students will increase their knowledge and skill of inserting two columns in MS Word and editing each column of text accordingly.
- Students will also apply existing knowledge learned in lessons 1-8.
- Student will review the ELA Standard regarding Homophones.
NOTES: Homophones are two words having the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling (e.g., to, too, and two); a homophone.
Objective:
Students will apply their knowledge of MS Word’s Font and Formatting Tools.
Student will activate prior knowledge of the content and apply acquired skill.
When Done, complete any incomplete work from previous classes, including typing drills.
