Task 1: Typing.com Warm-Up
Objective: Students will improve typing ability using proper keyboarding technique and stretching using a warm up practice session using Typing.com.

Typing Tests Due:
Three (1) Minute Typing Tests
** 9 Tests (1 minute tests) due as of today!
Students will type three separate one minute typing tests attempting to increase their speed and accuracy.
Remember if you are absent you must make up your typing lessons.
If you own a computer and have internet Access, practice typing at home.
**Even if you have met the Activity Time Requirement, this is your daily class responsibility!**
Task 2: Typing Games
Objective: Students will; become familiar with keyboarding practice site that are in a gaming format to use for practice and homework.
Both games require Adobe Flash, click to allow & install.

Task 3: Taking Care of Business
Take five minutes to check your
IC Portal & Email!
Students will learn home to access the Infinite Campus (Grading & Attendance Management System) in order to monitor their grades and attendance.
Students will increase their understanding of the importance to advocate for themselves in verifying grade status, make up work, communication with teachers, confirming attendance accuracy and managing a behavior report.
A. Progress Notices Prep:
Go to your IC Portal and review absences, behavior report and attendance, as well as grades and missing work in your classes.
B. Email Checking - Should be done daily:
Log in to your email and make sure you have not received any important communication from guidance or your teachers. This is YOUR responsibility to check regularly.
Objective: Students will learn how to access their district email accounts via the PC and a mobile device to remain connected to teachers, staff and the daily happenings at Brockton High School.
