Homework Policy
Computer Applications
Computer Applications
This course is a Computer Applications course which requires access to a laptop or desktop as well as consistent Internet access.
Due to lack of equitable access to technology in the form of Internet connectivity and or a device [laptop or desktop PC] homework is not assigned in this course.
Though the MS Office 365 grant has mobile accessibility, it is not realistic or reasonable request to require students to complete supplementary course work in the form of homework in this course.
Brockton Public Schools is not a one to one district though it is a BOYD district, yet Internet accessibility is not readily available to all students beyond the school day.
Make up work is the responsibility of the student and must be done during directed academics and/or after-school Monday through Friday with a pre-arranged appointment with Ms. Brown.
Please be advised, students have one school day to complete assignments (before the next class session) unless they have a medical waiver or have be personally excused by the teacher.

Acceptable Use Policy
Whether or not you agree with the terms of the acceptable use policy and handbook policy you are expected to comply with these policies. In order to change policy there is a protocol you would follow to propose the changes and it must be heard by the district administration and school committee with supporting data to justify your request for change.
