SUB PLANS
Task 1: Rules & Expectations
Students will review and follow all 15 rules and expectations listed below, while Ms. Brown is absent.
Students understand that if they fail to adhere to the following, an Office Referral / Write Up will follow as "failure to comply" with Classroom Rules.
Classroom Rules & Expectations:
NO MUSIC, NO EARBUDS & NO PHONES!
- No cell phones should be viewed at any time.
- Phones are AWAY at ALL times. Notification are OFF!
- Ear buds are also not visible (unless approved for a lesson).
- Repeat -- Cell phones are away and NOT VISIBLE at any time.
- Sit in assigned seats, teacher has the seating charts. If there is an issue, be polite and ask the sub for assistance.
- No hoodies!
- NO Food or Drink (water is on the floor and sealed tightly)
- Do NOT Charge Phones at you desk or using FLOOR OUTLETS.
- The charging station can be used with substitute permission ONLY! Phones stay until the bell. NO up/down to check.
- If you have early release from a class - be respectful and let the Substitute know in advance.
- Always wait by your seat for dismissal, NOT THE DOORS!
- Students be polite and respectful to our guest teacher (substitute).
- The substitute is not familiar with our routines. I have asked all incidents be referred to me and I will handle all concerns upon my return.
- Students, in my absence, you are to follow the above list and adhere to any classroom directives, the substitute has made.
- Follow our usual EXIT PROCEDURES (bottom of this page). Keep the LAB neat and tidy! Chairs pushed in, log off and pick up trash.

Step a:
To start either Part I or Part 2, students must log into their Typing.com Account. (See screen shot below on how to find the Lesson Modules).
NOTE: ** If you forget your log on information, see the substitute for the information.**
Step b: Click Lessons Tab (see arrow 2)
Step c: Click the Career Prep Lesson (see arrow 3)
Step d: Click the START BUTTON to begin Module 1.

Students will explore concepts like soft skills, time management, and communication. Learn how to follow workplace rules and compose professional writing.

Students will work at their own place to complete the 7 modules.

Objective: Students will complete the three modules.

a. Go to the Typing Practice Lesson Section and practice typing drills for 5 minutes.
b. See below image on how to track your 5 minutes.
Task 5: Educational DOWN TIME
At dismissal, make sure the room is NEAT!
Chairs pushed in.
Sign off the Machine (PC).
Headsets coiled neatly.
Pick up any trash & toss it.
