Objective:
Students will use SkillsUSA and focus on the Career Essentials portion to brush up on skills required for success in the workplace which will benefit students in high school, college and in their future professional life.
Upon course completion, students will receive a certificate that is beneficial to use when creating a resume, applying for scholarships and college in their Junior and Senior year.
Instructions for New Users to Access Accounts after Auto Uploads

2. Click the blue Login button in the upper right of the page 3. Enter your Username (BPS email address)
and Temporary Password - 123456
4. System will prompt student to re-set password

The course, is available to all students enrolled in a course in the Vocational and Career Education Department at BHS (which the 21st Century Computer Applications) and focuses on career skills.
They are essential skills that can help you during and after high school with pursuing a career.
Again, the course is optional and it’s up to you if you want to complete it.
If you do complete it...
you will receive a certificate of the course completion
The certificate will be listed on your resume, on any scholarship and college applications which are very useful to you in your future.
