Task 1: Typing.com Warm-Up
Students will improve typing ability using proper keyboarding technique and stretching using a 10 minute warm up on Typing.com.
Check to make sure you have all minutes required to Pass this Course. See below for that information. (What is Due at This Time?)
What is due for TYPING?
Typing Activity Due:
All Time = 90 minutes (1 hour 30 mins) or more.
Typing Tests Due:
18 or more (1 minute Typing Tests)

Task 2: IC & Email Check
Taking Care of Business - 5 Minutes ONLY!

Task 3: Intro to Word Note-Taking
This is a Teacher-Led Lesson
Wait for Instructions to introduces this lesson for each of your to work independently.
OBJECTIVE: Students will watch SIX SHORT VIDEOS videos to become more familiar of Microsoft Word and its use in the classroom and workplace as well as via a mobile device.
A. Open the file you saved last class. (1 TakeAway Wksht)
B. This file is in your COMP APPS Folder in the Word Folder. (See image below these instructions for a visual reference).
C. Ask if you do not understand!!!!
D. The File Name is:
1 Take Away Worksheet Intro to Word
E. Students will watch each short video (SKIP #5) and take notes according to the worksheet.
F. There are two columns to complete. Two Facts per Video.
G. Make sure your name, day, period & date are on the sheet.
H. When you have completed the worksheet call me over to proof your work.
